Intensive Care Nurse Role

We are seeking an experienced Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at the Broken Hill Health Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional health outcomes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to take on a challenging role in our ICU department. You will have the chance to develop your skills and progress your career with more responsibility and autonomy than you would get in larger hospitals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care to patients in the ICU department
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Supervise and mentor ENs and AINs and students on clinical placement
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Have a postgraduate or minimum Graduate Certificate qualification in Intensive Care, Coronary Care, or Critical Care
  • Demonstrate application of professional and ethical boundaries to the delivery of patient care
