Job Overview

The Chief Steward & Hygiene Manager role encompasses overseeing the development and performance of stewarding staff, ensuring alignment with health and safety protocols.

This position involves conducting structured training sessions, managing inventory and equipment, maintaining operational records, and supporting recruitment efforts. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, fostering a professional working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient stewarding operations while adhering to health and safety standards
  • Conduct formal training sessions and manage inventory and equipment purchases
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor staff attendance and discipline in accordance with Resort policies
  • Coordinate with other departments for effective tracking of operational equipment and address maintenance needs as required

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Steward Supervisor or Manager with ability to manage across multiple venues
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Sound administrative and rostering skills
