Product Test Technician Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Product Test Technician to join our team, based in Kewdale, Western Australia. The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing electromechanical, electronic, and RF testing on electronic and low-voltage systems, products, and subassemblies to ensure product functionality according to specification.
  • Interpreting test schedules, documentation, performance specifications, and schematic drawings to determine test procedures and equipment to be used.
  • Conducting quality inspections of products.
  • Updating test procedures to maintain relevance.

As a Product Test Technician, you will be part of a small friendly team that values teamwork and collaboration. You will need to have the ability to take responsibility for everything you do and focus on delivering high-quality results.

Applicants must have a level of experience and skills in the following areas:

  • Technical diploma or certification in an Electrical field.
  • Experience in Electrical/Electronic assembly work.
  • Hand soldering skills.
  • High-level troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Test equipment knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret test documentation and schematic drawings.
  • Able to focus on the job at hand.
  • Excellent eye for detail.
  • Very high standard of workmanship.
  • Very well-developed communication skills.
  • PC skills.
