About the Role:

As a Personal Support Professional, you will provide support to clients living in their own homes, focusing on enhancing their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients, assisting with daily activities, and providing personal care.

Key tasks may include showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing, all tailored to meet individual client needs.

Providing care that aligns with each client's personalized Care Plan is essential for achieving the best possible outcomes.

Supporting clients with community-based recreational and social activities is also a vital aspect of this role.

Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments can make a significant difference in the lives of others.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification - Essential
  • Current Australian driver's license and a roadworthy, insured vehicle – Essential (International Driver's Licenses not considered)
  • Experience with technology, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops
  • Ability to satisfy relevant probity checks as required by legislation or policies
