Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in a casual capacity. This role involves delivering high-quality support services to customers with disabilities, including assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting community integration, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualised support plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional support services to customers with disabilities.
  • Assist clients with personal care, mobility, and skill development.
  • Promote community integration and support clients in accessing social and recreational activities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans.
  • Encourage independence and empower clients to achieve their personal goals.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with disabilities.
About You
  • Certificate III in Community Services or equivalent ideal.
  • 6 months experience required – ideal for candidates ready to learn on the job, with buddy shifts provided for support.
  • Require a level of fitness for manual handling.
  • Have as much availability as possible, including sleepovers and active nights, and day shifts during the weekend.
  • Possess or willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWSC).
  • Possess or willing to obtain Working with Children Check (WWCC).
  • Hold a current and valid CPR and First Aid certificate.
  • Have a full driver's licence.
  • Have valid work rights.
  • Successfully complete the NDIS Quality, Safety & You module.
  • Passionate about human rights and creating positive change.
  • Empathetic and compassionate, with a keen understanding of diverse experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic team player.
