We are seeking a skilled Shelter Support Professional to provide essential services and support to residents and shelter users in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective resident support plans, delivering quality services that cater to individual needs.
- Establish strong, trusting relationships with residents through active listening and empathetic communication.
- Contribute to intake procedures and programs designed to empower residents in achieving their goals.
- Advocate for residents, addressing sensitive issues and promoting a safe and welcoming atmosphere.
- Diploma in a related human or social service field is highly desirable.
- Minimum one year of recent experience in a related role.
- Full-time position with three 12-hour shifts per week.
- Competitive hourly rate ($31.56-$33.49).
- Vacation accrual at a rate of 6% or in accordance with length of service.
