Overview:

The role of a Talent Acquisition Advisor is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to take ownership of legal support roles nationally. This full-time position is based in Melbourne and requires the individual to work alongside the Talent Acquisition Lead, contributing to strategic hiring initiatives, building strong relationships across the firm, and help shape our approach to attracting top talent in legal support functions.

The Role:

  • Drafting job advertisements and posting on job boards;
  • Taking ownership of legal support and internal firm services roles;
  • Liaising with partners and managers to coordinate recruitment needs;
  • Assisting in the candidate screening process including phone screens and in-person interviews;
  • Conducting background and reference checks;
  • Drafting employment contracts;
  • On-boarding new employees;
  • Driving the employee referral campaign via monthly recruitment updates to the firm;
  • And assisting with any ad hoc HR activities as required.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce will be highly regarded;
  • Between 1–2 years' experience in either an agency or internal recruitment setting;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • A client-focused mindset;
  • Polished, professional presence;
  • Ability to stay organised, take initiative, and juggle competing priorities with a proactive, can-do attitude.
