About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have completed or be completing the Diploma of Customs Broking and have a strong understanding of customs procedures and regulations. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Data entry of shipping information into our system
- Obtaining documents as required by customs brokers
- Liaising with clients to clarify shipment details
- Sending documentation to Australian Customs when required
- Checking dangerous goods requirements
You will work closely with the customs team to ensure seamless processing of shipments and provide excellent customer service to our clients.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Completed or currently completing the Diploma of Customs Broking
- Experience in a similar role (advantageous)
- Knowledge of EMPP would be advantageous
- Good problem-solving skills
- Clear communication skills
- An understanding of airfreight commercial documents
- Full Australian working rights
