C015 APT MANAGEMENT SERVICES PTY LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Insurance Manager - Construction to join our team in Sydney on a permanent full-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and drive change in the construction insurance process, increasing knowledge across the business to enhance awareness and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic insurance programs for major construction projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and manage construction insurance solutions, providing technical input and advice.
- Support the management of operational relationships with insurance brokers and underwriters, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Lead the development of bespoke construction placements for power generation projects, exploring opportunities for facilities arrangements and improvements.
- Ensure the implementation of appropriate insurance due diligence processes for potential business development projects, with a focus on significant construction activity.
Your background
- 10+ years of business experience, with at least 5 years in an insurance role, preferably in an ASX 100 company or equivalent with specific construction experience.
- Strong understanding of the construction landscape and insurance requirements, with a good understanding of practical application.
- Experience in power generation projects and renewables is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of contractual requirements, structures, liability regimes, and the interplay of insurance.
- Ability to develop and implement insurance frameworks and systems effectively and fit for purpose.
