About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Attendant to join our team at Workforce Extensions. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, and eating.
  • Support residents with mobility issues, including manual handling and transfers.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest level of care and support is provided.
  • Adhere to facility and governmental accreditation standards.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate a willingness to provide exceptional person-centred care and support to residents.
  • Exceptional time management and customer service skills.
  • Manual handling certificate.
  • Value teamwork and collaboration.
  • Exhibit a passion for making a difference in the lives of residents.
  • Aged care experience (highly regarded).
  • Cert III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (or similar) or be working towards nursing certification (must have completed either aged care/acute placement).
  • Current National Police Check.
  • Current COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations.
  • A positive 'can-do' attitude.
