As a senior manager, you will oversee the operations of retirement living services. This involves providing effective leadership and management to ensure high-quality outcomes for residents, staff, and stakeholders.
You will bring your wealth of experience and knowledge to this key role, shaping your vision to provide outstanding services to older people seeking retirement living.
The role requires strategic contribution and continuous improvement, contributing to the development and delivery of the Retirement Living Business Plan.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leadership and operational oversight across all retirement villages; champion workplace culture; provide direct line management to staff
- Resident engagement and experience; build and maintain relationships with residents, acting as an escalation point, driving improvements
- Legislative compliance and risk management
- Financial management
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Experience in senior leadership roles in the retirement living, aged care, or service delivery sector.
- Demonstrated understanding of all areas of the relevant Retirement Villages Legislation.
- Experience in retirement living management with the ability to manage a team of employees. Demonstrated competence and interpersonal skills to enable effective communication with residents, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent report writing skills and ability to analyse and report on changes in legislation and reform and develop and implement required changes to policy and procedure.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently manage human, financial, information and physical resources to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Implement systems of continuous improvement which respond to identified service needs and opportunities and meet better practice and regulatory standards.
- Ability to deal constructively with conflict, mediate and negotiate acceptable outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to act strategically and set realistic goals and plans to improve service quality.
