About the Role:
As a key member of the organization, you will provide leadership and direction to the procurement function. You will be responsible for leading the strategic procurement process from planning to contract management, aligned with the company's strategic priorities. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices, as well as excellent leadership and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve the company's objectives, including undertaking market research, evaluating suppliers, and developing contracts.
  2. Assess and implement procurement accreditation obligations under the PNFC structure, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative and policy requirements.
  3. Establish and maintain a wide procurement governance and risk management framework to monitor and manage procurement performance.
  4. Develop and implement key performance indicators to evaluate contract performance and drive continuous improvement.
  5. Develop and implement effective policies, procedures, and systems for all procurement-related activities.
  6. Develop and implement a procurement strategy to enhance value and improve procurement efficiency.
  7. Lead high-level negotiations with procurement partners and suppliers to achieve optimal value for money outcomes.
  8. Provide advice and guidance to business leads on procurement matters, including building procurement capability and performance.

Skills and Experience:
  1. Demonstrated experience in strategic procurement roles, including leading and implementing organization-wide procurement initiatives.
  2. Strong commercial and analytical skills to resolve complex issues and provide time-efficient solutions.
  3. Significant experience in influencing and negotiating with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  4. Skilled in developing procurement strategies, with a focus on property procurement and day-to-day operations of the procurement team.
  5. Experience in leading and mentoring a team.
