Boral, a leading player in the Australian construction materials market, seeks an experienced Procurement Specialist to join its team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking to advance their career and contribute to the company's success.

About the Role:

This permanent position will be based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane and reports directly to the Procurement Performance Manager. The successful candidate will support the Procurement Team's priorities and delivery of procurement strategies across the Boral organisation. Key responsibilities include developing and managing performance improvement projects, running tactical sourcing events, and providing analytical insights to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process improvements in procurement processes, documentation, spend analytics, and performance reporting.
  • Provide operational support and key insights for strategic sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management, and other procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with Category teams and stakeholders to analyse spend, identify opportunities, and deliver value against agreed targets.
  • Conduct sourcing and supplier management activities in accordance with Boral policies and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training for internal stakeholders on improvement project outcomes.
