**About the Role**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven graduate/junior accountant to join our team in Sydney CBD. This is a rare opportunity for someone looking to launch their accounting career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of annual compliance, completing GST and tax reconciliations, and preparing BAS, IAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns. They will also be expected to learn tax regulations and legislation through structured training sessions.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 6 months – 2 years' experience in a reputable accounting firm, hold a relevant degree or be working towards completion, and be currently studying towards your CA or CPA (or willing to commence). You will also need to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as be eager to learn, grow, and progress your career.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Minimum 6 months – 2 years' experience in a reputable accounting firm
  • Hold a relevant degree or be working towards completion
  • Currently studying towards your CA or CPA (or willing to commence)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
