About the Role

As a Course Coordinator at Acknowledge Education, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of our Bachelor of Community Service course in Adelaide.

The role involves managing academic staffing matters, coordinating program delivery, and teaching students course content. Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching the next generation of community service professionals
  • Developing curriculum, delivering courses, and assessing students
  • Ensuring programs meet industry standards and quality outcomes
  • Managing daily operations, including timetabling and resource allocation
  • Mentoring teaching staff and conducting performance appraisals
  • Ensuring compliance with academic policies and procedures; Maintaining accreditation and regulatory standards
  • Participating in program reviews and updates and preparing reports for academic committees
Key Requirements

You will hold a Master's or higher degree in Social Work or a related welfare discipline such as Counselling, Psychology, or similar.

Years of practical experience in your field of study are essential, preferably with a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Proven experience in academic leadership roles within an education setting is also required.

Familiarity with academic quality and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards is crucial. You should have a strong background in community service education, with a proven track record in curriculum development, teaching, and program coordination.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a $1,500 professional development allowance.
