The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the implementation of our new Bachelor of Community Service course in Adelaide, overseeing academic staffing matters, coordinating program delivery and teaching students course content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver high-quality curriculum, ensuring it meets industry standards and high-quality outcomes.
  • Teach and mentor the next generation of community service workers, fostering their growth and development.
  • Manage daily operations, including timetabling and resource allocation, to ensure seamless program delivery.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide ongoing support to teaching staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Maintain compliance with academic policies and procedures, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Participate in program reviews and updates, contributing to the evolution of our educational offerings.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Master's or higher degree in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, or a related welfare discipline.
  • Years of practical experience in your field of study, demonstrating expertise and a passion for community service education.
  • A proven track record in academic leadership roles, preferably within an education setting, showcasing your ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Familiarity with academic quality assurance and compliance, ensuring that our programs meet the highest standards.
  • Experience in curriculum development, teaching, and program coordination, with a strong background in community service education.
