We are a building design company looking for experienced contract drafters to join our team. We specialise in detailed documentation, practical design solutions and collaboration with builders and consultants.

About the Role

This is a project-based contract role involving producing development application (DA) / building application (BA) drawings, detailed Revit documentation, and shop drawings for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on detail and efficiency, as well as excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate DA and BA documentation in line with relevant codes and standards
  • Develop detailed shop drawings ensuring clarity and buildability
  • Model and document projects in Revit with a strong focus on detail and efficiency
  • Collaborate with our design team, consultants and builders to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Maintain documentation standards across all projects
Requirements
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit essential
  • Strong knowledge of timber frame construction
  • High level of understanding of Australian building codes, standards and construction practices
  • Previous experience in residential and commercial drafting/documentation
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, communicate clearly and maintain a high level of accuracy
