Hydraulic BIM Technician Role

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic BIM Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality hydraulic services designs, drawings, and models that meet current Australian standards and authority codes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the building services industry as a hydraulic design drafter, with a strong knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software. You will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Produce accurate and detailed hydraulic services designs, drawings, and models according to supplied specifications and applicable standards.
  2. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  3. Work unsupervised to complete drawings and models from a design brief, while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience working in the building services industry as a hydraulic design drafter.
  • Solid knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Excellent knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards, and building regulations.
  • Ability to conduct client meetings and on-site measures if requested.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
