Job Role

Senior Drafter - Architectural Specialist

This role involves creating detailed construction drawings for buildings, including floor plans, elevations, and sections.

The ideal candidate will have experience in low-rise residential drafting and proficiency in ArchiCAD with strong documentation skills.

Australian Standards and building codes are also essential knowledge areas.

Furthermore, excellent communication and coordination skills are required to work effectively within a team.

The Senior Drafter - Architectural Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Producing high-quality construction drawings using ArchiCAD
  • Revising drawings based on feedback from architects and engineers
  • Evaluating drawings for compliance with relevant building codes and standards
  • Coordinating with other disciplines for integrated designs
  • Supporting Architects in design development and documentation phases
  • Developing conceptual sketches and 3D models to communicate design ideas
