Early Childhood Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our team as a Service Manager 2IC. This role involves working closely with the Centre Director to deliver high-quality early learning for children.

The successful candidate will have a Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care, approved by ACECQA, and previous leadership or 2IC experience in early childhood education.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily centre operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations
  • Lead and inspire educators to create engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF and NQS
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the local community
  • Support rostering, enrolments, compliance, and administrative tasks
  • Confidently step into the Centre Director's role when required
Requirements
  • Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care, approved by ACECQA
  • Previous leadership or 2IC experience in early childhood education
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
