HR Advisor Job Overview

As an HR Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's values-driven approach. This dynamic position offers variety and purpose, with a focus on hands-on recruitment and core HR advisory support.

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, screening, scheduling, and candidate communication.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and stakeholders to coordinate smooth interview and selection processes.
  • Maintain accurate ATS records and ensure a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on employee relations issues and case management.
  • Assist with onboarding and contract preparation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Respond to day-to-day HR queries and provide strategic guidance in line with policy and legislation.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in HR advisory roles, ideally within healthcare, non-profit or community settings.
  • Exposure to ER casework and confident providing first-line advice.
  • Familiarity with relevant awards – particularly the SCHADS Award.
  • Experience using HRIS systems (Employment Hero is highly regarded).
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Organized, adaptable, and passionate about making a difference.
