Our state-of-the-art medical centre includes ten consulting rooms, three treatment bays, a seminar room and the latest computing and diagnostic technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Use Best Practice software to manage patient appointments and records.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients and assisting with enquiries.
  • Coordinate appointments with doctors and nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Billing and receipting using Tyro EFTPOS and Medicare Easyclaim.
  • Scanning and document management to maintain accurate records.
  • Maintenance of reception area and doctors' rooms to create a welcoming environment.
  • Liaise with pathology services, couriers and other medical practices to ensure efficient communication.

  • Prior experience in a medical reception role, ideally in a general practice setting.

  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Best Practice and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to juggle competing demands and priorities while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
