Key to Success: Medical Reception Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for medical reception duties including patient admissions, discharge and data entry of patient information, as well as preparation of theatre lists.

Essential attributes needed for this position include:

  • Previous experience in a Hospital Admissions or Medical Receptionist role is advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, specifically FYDO Patient Management Software.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
  • Understanding of privacy and confidentiality within the healthcare environment.
  • Ability to produce high-quality accurate work, prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
  • Capacity to work as part of a team and undertake various reception and administration tasks in a fast-paced environment.

On-the-job training will be provided to the successful applicant. We promote staff development through education and training initiatives.
