IntroductionAre you an experienced healthcare professional looking to lead a dynamic medical practice? Health Hub Springfield seeks a skilled Medical Reception to oversee our rapidly expanding team. As we grow to encompass a GP clinic, radiology, fracture clinic, and infusion clinic, we need a dedicated leader to ensure operational excellence and outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations of the practice, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments
- Manage and optimize billing processes, including Medicare and private billing
- Lead the accreditation process and maintain compliance with all relevant healthcare standards
- Recruit, train, and manage administrative and clinical support staff
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance practice efficiency and patient care
- Manage financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting and financial reporting
- Coordinate with doctors and specialists to ensure high-quality patient care
- Oversee IT systems and implement new technologies to improve practice operations
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers and healthcare partners
- Ensure the practice meets all legal and regulatory requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare management in a general practice setting
- Strong understanding of Medicare billing and healthcare compliance regulations
- Proven track record in staff management and team leadership
- Experience with practice management software and healthcare IT systems
- Excellent financial management and budgeting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
