Job Title: Program Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Program Director to lead our Home Services team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in community services, aged care, or a related field, and will be responsible for managing a team of professionals who deliver home services support programs to older Australians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead and manage a small team of professionals who deliver home services support programs.
  • Service Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow the Home Services business, including increasing the number of clients and services offered.
  • Client Intake: Manage the intake of new clients and create individual plans based on quality, evidence-based, and clinical governance advice.
  • Caseload Management: Oversee a caseload of approximately 85 to 90 clients and implement improvements to the service.
  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure the Home Care program complies with all legislative requirements, including Aged Care Quality Standards, clinical governance, and ISO9001.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with clients, third-party providers, and subcontractors.
  • Knowledge Development: Participate in and develop the broader knowledge of home services programs and increase clients.
  • Organizational Improvement: Contribute to the wider management team for the improvement and betterment of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar support and services role, such as aged care, nursing, or health environments.
  • Qualifications: Diploma of Community Services or higher.
  • Clinical Qualifications: Clinical qualifications are highly desirable but not essential.
