Service Centre Lead Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Service Centre Manager to join our team in Mackay, QLD.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer expectations and deliver outstanding service
  • Oversee daily activities to meet business objectives and ensure timely service delivery
  • Manage job costs, including labor and resource allocation
  • Monitor work in progress to ensure project milestones are met
  • Prepare and submit accurate reports on time
  • Adhere to OHS, Quality, and Environmental policies
  • Complete KPI-related tasks and provide regular reporting on performance
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Mechanical trade qualifications or equivalent
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Extensive experience in maintaining surface/underground mining equipment, hydraulic repairs, diagnostics, and low-voltage electrical repairs
  • Experience in both preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and proactive approach
  • High level of computer literacy and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
