We are seeking a seasoned and outcomes-focused National HSEC Leader to deliver safe, compliant, and high-performing operations across multiple sites in Queensland.

This role is a critical leadership pipeline position, designed to develop future General Managers. As a National HSEC Manager, you will provide hands-on support, coaching, and leadership to operational teams while influencing regional strategy.

You will drive the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies, standards, and procedures across multiple sites.

  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies across multiple sites.
  • Conduct incident investigations and lead root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to achieve strategic HSE outcomes that align with business priorities.
  • Cultivate a proactive safety culture among frontline leaders and drive accountability.
  • Design and oversee HSE training programs, audits, and compliance assessments.
  • E nsure alignment with Federal and State Regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage health, injury management, and return-to-work initiatives.
  • Represent the business with regulatory bodies, industry forums, and community stakeholders.

This is an ideal opportunity for a senior safety professional with strong operational knowledge who is ready to broaden their leadership impact and step into a more senior, business-wide remit.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Postgraduate degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in a senior HSE role, ideally within high-risk industries (explosives/dangerous goods experience highly regarded).
  • Proven working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 systems.
  • Demonstrated success in driving HSE culture and performance improvement across multiple sites.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Accreditation in Rehabilitation and Return-to-Work Coordination.
  • Relevant security clearance or ability to obtain.
  • A commercial mindset with ambition to progress into broader operational and general management responsibilities.
