The Production Planner plays a pivotal role in orchestrating efficient and high-quality production workflows within a dynamic workshop environment.

Responsibilities include developing, finalising, and distributing detailed production plans to relevant stakeholders, creating and managing production schedules to maximise workflow efficiency and resource utilisation, providing customers with clear and timely daily and weekly progress updates, collaborating with workshop teams to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time, monitoring parts availability and coordinating procurement to prevent operational delays, maintaining up-to-date records of maintenance, repairs, and scheduled servicing activities, evaluating production performance and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, identifying process bottlenecks and recommending actionable solutions to improve productivity, and preparing variation bills of materials and cost estimates as required for scope changes.

About the Ideal Candidate

You're a qualified mechanical tradesperson with a strong foundation in workshop planning and coordination, hands-on experience in scheduling and workflow management, backed by a deep understanding of maintenance operations and inventory control. You're highly organised, analytical, and thrive on solving problems with precision and creativity. Your advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project enable you to turn data into actionable tasks and keep projects on track.
