**Job Overview**

A pivotal role awaits in our Emergency Management Section as we seek a skilled professional to coordinate and deliver projects focused on disaster and flood risk management.

This exciting opportunity presents a chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of our residents, visitors, and business owners by developing and implementing Community Based Action Plans and Flood Response Plans.

Working closely with key stakeholders, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and executing works related to floodplain risk management projects
  • Maintaining regular program and project management monitoring
  • Providing expert advice to project sponsors, funding bodies, and managers
  • Collaborating and engaging with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the community, to ensure successful project delivery

To excel in this position, you will require:

- Strong knowledge in integrated catchment management, floodplain management, disaster management, or community development disciplines

- Relevant professional graduate qualifications or substantial equivalent experience in a relevant field
