Senior Hydrologist for Flood Management

The position of Experienced Flooding and Hydrology Engineer is a crucial part of our team, contributing to the development and implementation of hydrologic and hydraulic models. These models play a vital role in assessing flood risk and providing innovative solutions for flood management across various sectors.
This role involves working on technical projects that require collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes efficiently. Key responsibilities include conducting flood risk assessments, analyzing flood behavior, and interpreting flood model results. Additionally, you will communicate findings effectively to clients and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to develop and apply your knowledge of hydrology and hydraulic principles, as well as experience using packages such as RORB, URBS, WBNM, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS, and their applications. A strong understanding of Australian Rainfall and Runoff 2019 and regional procedures is essential for success.
