Job Description

As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital banking experience for millions of customers. You will be responsible for influencing design decisions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create products that are both effective and user-friendly.

  • You will work closely with product management, engineering, marketing, analytics, and other key stakeholders to envision and build products that meet customer needs and support business goals.
  • Your role will involve synthesizing research outcomes into viable product experiences, defining scope and needs for customer testing, and ensuring insights are reflected in your design work.
  • You will be an active participant in our design community, providing feedback to fellow designers, and practicing empathy and active listening skills.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for driving Lean/agile UX approaches pervasively throughout the product lifecycle, facilitating decision-making across dimensions of value, usability, and feasibility.
  • You will partner with key players across Scotia Digital to ensure alignment and engagement in delivering results supporting business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and methods.
  • Experience in design research and usability testing.
  • Able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to drive design solutions from concept to launch.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
