Senior Product Designer Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing digital experiences that touch millions of customers every day.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of customer motivations and needs through rigorous design research and usability principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in design decisions for banking digital experiences
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to envision and build products that meet business goals
  • Support and communicate with agile team partners through the conception, build, and release of software features
  • Engage with developers, product managers, and quality assurance analysts to understand platform capabilities and verify implemented designs
  • Produce compelling visual deliverables to illustrate desired customer experiences and provide detailed specifications for software developers
  • Practice empathy and active listening while considering other people's points of view

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in design, Humanities, Systems engineering, or related fields (or equivalent work experience)
  • Ability to communicate concepts, ideas, and strategies using rapid visual design techniques
  • Flexibility in working within a Design System and contributing back to the library
  • Positive and resilient personality with a growth mentality
  • Demonstrable history of applying design thinking tenets and user-centered design principles
  • Portfolio of work presenting projects, role, and examples of problem-solving methods
  • Expertise in digital design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Invision, Axure, Proto.io, etc.
  • Understanding of Human-centred Design practices, including Design thinking methodologies, research, and user testing protocols, as well as Agile frameworks
