About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Health Manager to join our team at the Southern NSW Local Health District. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the implementation and delivery of the NSW Cancer Plan strategy evaluation and the development of the next NSW Cancer Plan.

About the Position

  • This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week with accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year.
  • Salary: $109,857 - $129,624 per annum, plus superannuation and 17.5% leave loading.
  • The successful candidate must have Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.

About the Requirements

  • Graduate qualifications in Public Health or in a related discipline or demonstrated equivalent, relevant professional experience and training.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks and methodologies, preferably in a government context.
  • Strong analytical, evaluation, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high quality reports, correspondence, briefing papers and experience writing research or evaluation reports.
