About this role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our climate risk management and sustainability reporting efforts, aligning with the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (AASB S1 & S2). As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our commitment to net zero by 2050.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of climate-related processes, conduct advanced modelling and analysis, and ensure disclosures meet regulatory and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop and apply robust climate-related processes, including quantitative scenario analysis, stress testing, and physical and transition risk assessments across the portfolio.
  • Conduct comprehensive emissions baselining across all scopes and categories, including financed emissions, and monitor progress toward emissions reduction targets.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Environmental Science, Finance, or Engineering, with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
  • Minimum 5–7 years' experience in climate-related financial analysis, scenario modelling, emissions data validation, and sustainability reporting within superannuation, institutional investment, or asset management.
  • Experience in GHG emissions accounting using recognised standards and tracking net-zero targets, energy efficiency, and renewable energy metrics.
  • Proven ability to apply ESG frameworks, conduct climate stress testing, and meet reporting and assurance requirements.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, data analysis tools, and ESG platforms.
