Pig Farm Manager Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Pig Farm Manager to oversee the daily operations of a brand-new, indoor breeder unit with 2500 sows. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing staff, animal welfare, husbandry, biosecurity, training and quality assurance programs. You will also provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure efficient operation of the site, as well as collaborate with farm managers, senior management, staff, and consultant veterinarians to ensure overall success.
Responsibilities

To succeed in this position, you will need to demonstrate a high-level understanding of animal management techniques, have a minimum of five years of commercial pig farm management or experience in a comparable role within the industry, strong planning and organisational abilities, strong communication skills, and excellent stockperson skills.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $140,000 AUD per annum DOE, cover costs of relocation (flights + visa), performance-based production bonuses, accommodation available depending on requirements.
