Job Title: Training Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the development of our training strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement training programs aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.
- Lead gap analysis and design structured transfer plans in collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define training transfers and ensure effective delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
- Build strong relationships across teams to promote cultural awareness and shared goals.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10+ years' experience in adult education, learning and development, or training delivery in complex environments.
- Skilled in gap analysis, competency mapping, and progression frameworks.
- Experience leading training transfers in multicultural defense programs.
- Strong understanding of engineering processes and shipbuilding operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Able to work independently, manage priorities, and navigate cultural nuances.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in education, training, or engineering; trade background desirable.
