Job Title: Training Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the development of our training strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs aligned with our organization's goals and objectives.
  • Lead gap analysis and design structured transfer plans in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define training transfers and ensure effective delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Build strong relationships across teams to promote cultural awareness and shared goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years' experience in adult education, learning and development, or training delivery in complex environments.
  • Skilled in gap analysis, competency mapping, and progression frameworks.
  • Experience leading training transfers in multicultural defense programs.
  • Strong understanding of engineering processes and shipbuilding operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Able to work independently, manage priorities, and navigate cultural nuances.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in education, training, or engineering; trade background desirable.
