About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced On-Site IT Support Specialist to join our team at Hanson Australia. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional second-level IT support to our internal users, ensuring seamless system operation and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support to users across Queensland, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Manage and resolve support tickets within agreed service levels, escalating complex issues to Level 3 support groups as needed.
  • Participate in an on-call support roster to provide 24/7 IT support to the business.
  • Log and track all incidents and service requests in the Service Desk system, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely resolution.
  • Support the roll-out of new business applications and technologies, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Conduct proactive on-site visits to maintain IT equipment, improve service delivery, and enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with Global support teams to ensure timely resolution of escalated support issues.
  • Develop and maintain IT support documentation, including FAQs and support manuals (SOPs).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an on-site support role or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • IT qualifications highly regarded.
  • Flexibility to work early/late start times and travel as required.
  • Australian drivers' license.
  • Experience troubleshooting common software/hardware issues.
  • Experience using Windows 10/11 essential.
