About the Opportunity:
L3Harris Technologies is seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist to join our team at the L3Harris Sustainment Centre in Pinkenba. As a member of our Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and repair of digital radio equipment. Your primary goal will be to return equipment to the user in a timely manner and in a serviceable condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct efficient and effective product diagnostics, including RF, digital, and analogue circuits.
- Collect and record accurate data associated with diagnostic findings and solutions.
- Provide feedback to management, engineers, and peers regarding diagnostics, processes, and tools.
- Assist and coach peers and test station operators to enhance team capabilities.
- Maintain quality standards through best practices.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
- Provide direct customer support for product diagnostics as required.
- Participate in weekly reporting to the management team.
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
- Minimum Certificate III in a relevant Technical Trade.
- Proven experience in RF, digital, and analogue circuit diagnostics to module level.
- Ability to read and interpret technical information, engineering drawings, and schematics.
- Proven ability to schedule and prioritize work to meet customer requirements.
- Experience in conducting technical analysis, communicating findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Ability to work within a flexible team environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to assess immediate problems and recommend a course of action.
