About Patient Transport Officer Jobs:
Job Description- We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Transport Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring nature, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
This role involves transporting patients safely and efficiently, providing high-quality care and support during transport, and maintaining accurate records of transfers using our bespoke customer booking system.
Key Responsibilities & Duties- Conduct patient transfers while ensuring the highest level of care and safety.
- Follow operational directions from the dispatch team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of transfers and provide feedback to improve services.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in vehicle cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with operating procedures.
- A minimum of Certificate III Non-emergency Patient Transport or higher.
- Certificate IV Health Care, Diploma of Emergency Health Care, or Bachelors of Paramedical Science are strongly encouraged to apply.
- An unrestricted C-class driver's licence and a safe driving record.
- A current WA working with children check (or willingness to obtain one).
- A national police clearance within four weeks of commencement date.
- The ability to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering patient-centric care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
