CSSD Sterilisation Technician Role

Seeking a highly skilled CSSD Sterilisation Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for cleaning, assembling, inspecting, wrapping and sterilizing surgical instruments and medical equipment.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment. You must also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing your workload effectively.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have or be working towards a qualification in Sterilising Services. Your positive attitude and willingness to learn will enable you to make a valuable contribution to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
  • Work in conjunction with Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment.
  • Ensure consistency and continuous workflow between Operating Theatre areas and CSD while practicing exceptional customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate (or working towards) in Sterilising Services.
  • Customer orientated skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
