Role Overview:

The CSSD Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the daily coordination and allocation of resources within the department. This includes ensuring all activities comply with Australian Standards and liaising with third parties.

This leadership role involves managing a team to achieve organisational goals, working closely with the Executive team to drive success.

About the Department:

The Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) plays a critical role in maintaining patient safety and quality care. As the Team Lead, you will be at the forefront of this essential service, ensuring seamless operations and high standards are maintained.

Your Responsibilities:

  • • Manage daily CSSD operations, including resource allocation and task prioritization
  • • Collaborate with the Executive team to develop and implement strategies for departmental growth and improvement
  • • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting employee engagement and development
  • • Develop and maintain effective relationships with third-party vendors and stakeholders

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • • Proven experience in a management or leadership position, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • • Knowledge of Australian Standards and regulations related to CSSD operations
