About The RoleIn this pivotal leadership role, you will shape and advance the educational direction of the school, ensuring that curriculum priorities align seamlessly with both school and departmental initiatives.
You will contribute to the broader vision of the Early Childhood and State Schools Division, driving excellence through the development of high-quality teaching and learning practices.
Your leadership will foster a collaborative and supportive environment, where strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and key stakeholders are cultivated and maintained.
In this capacity, you will report directly to the Principal or their delegate, upholding a standard of accountability and commitment to educational success.
Your Responsibilities- Develop and articulate a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
- Lead focus areas of reading and differentiation.
- Embed the General Capabilities and Cross Curricular Priorities into the curriculum to equip our students to build knowledge, skills, behaviours and dispositions to live and work successfully.
- Align the three levels of curriculum planning to the Australian Curriculum and the requirements of the K -12 Framework.
- Analysing data to inform decision making.
- Leading systematic synthetic phonics.
