As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will lead quality initiatives at our factory and manage relationships with co-manufacturers.

  • Lead food quality and safety to maintain certifications
  • Maintain and enhance the Quality Assurance System including pre-requisite programs, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), calibration, verification and customer feedback
  • Manage product testing for safety and nutrition
  • Collaborate with production staff, food technologists, nutritionists, veterinarians and external suppliers on new products and process improvements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in quality management, preferably in meat, seafood, food or pet food industries
  • Proven experience leading quality management systems and audits with regulatory bodies
  • Education in Food Science, Animal Nutrition, Microbiology, Chemistry or similar fields

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
