Job Summary

This position involves operating, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical systems on emergency procedure equipment.

  • Assessing equipment functionality and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures.
  • Repairing and modifying equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Operating and maintaining complex mechanical systems on emergency procedure equipment.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Developing and implementing procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Associate Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience in simulator maintenance desirable.
  • Understanding of basic electronics associated with electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to service, troubleshoot, and rectify issues associated with emergency procedure equipment and their associated systems.
  • Understanding of software and associated utilities.
  • Electrical and mechanical experience associated with Emergency Procedures Training Equipment.
  • Computer networking skills desirable.
  • Aircraft systems knowledge desirable.
  • Sound written and communication skills.
  • OH&S awareness.
