About the Role

The Head of Production is a key position within DNEG, responsible for overseeing all productions within the studio. This role requires strong leadership and strategic skills to guide both the short-term and long-term goals of the production team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide the strategic and day-to-day areas of production, including bidding on shows, show staffing, and production processes.
  • Work closely with the executive team to set the tone for a culture of mutual respect, creative collaboration, and client management.
  • Form part of the Global Production Management team and be a key stakeholder in global company projects.
  • Ensure effective communication to the local Production team on company updates and changes to company Production processes, procedures, and policies.

Requirements

  • 5 years plus of experience as a VFX producer or EP in an established VFX studio.
  • Thorough knowledge of production and post-production pipelines in general.
  • Excellent presentation and strong communication skills.
  • Experience in managing large-scale internal teams in a multicultural environment.
