Perioperative Services Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perioperative Services Manager to lead our perioperative department. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership position and contribute to the success of our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the theatre, including staff coordination, legislative requirements, and accreditation processes. They will also be responsible for ensuring the theatre is run ethically and complies with policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage theatre day-to-day operations, including staff coordination and allocation
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, ACORN, and Sterilisation standards
  • Oversee accreditation processes and quality/risk management
  • Develop and implement effective budgeting and financial planning strategies
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Authority to work in Australia
  • Unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Post-graduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing, Business, and/or Management (or working towards)
  • Minimum 5 years senior nursing experience in the Perioperative unit
  • High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
