Job Summary

This is a senior HR role responsible for shaping and executing our people strategy to align with our mission and values. As People and Culture Manager, you will be a pivotal member of our executive team, leading and mentoring an HR team, developing comprehensive HR strategies, designing learning and development programs, and cultivating a positive and inclusive workplace environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals, focusing on talent acquisition, development, and retention.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a dedicated HR team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Learning and Development: Design and oversee programs that promote continuous staff development, ensuring the team possesses the skills and knowledge to support our mission effectively.
  • Organisational Culture: Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace environment that reflects our core values, enhancing employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations, maintaining best practices in HR policies and procedures.
  • Conflict Resolution: Manage workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and mediation processes to maintain a harmonious work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior HR role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector, with a track record of strategic leadership and team development.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop HR teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive organisational success.
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $95,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
