Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in Tasmania. As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will play an important part in maintaining the efficiency of our wind turbines and contributing to the transition towards renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work at the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility while meeting service targets.
  • Perform periodic inspections and maintenance tasks, including component replacement and troubleshooting, in accordance with industry specifications.
  • Ensure smooth turbine operation and utilize condition monitoring and remote control systems effectively.
  • Maintain a well-equipped vehicle and warehouse by ordering necessary materials, tools, and spare parts.
  • Assemble and service components according to current standards and work instructions.

Required Skills:

  • Electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic trade qualification accompanied by a passion for developing skills in these areas.
  • Good computer skills, including experience with handling different tools and systems for monitoring work and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver's license.
