About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our engineering team in the Mackay Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing estimation and project coordination from enquiry to job execution and completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage estimation and project coordination from enquiry to job execution and completion
  • Communicate with internal and external customers regarding tenders, quotes, and estimates
  • Coordinate, prepare, and submit tenders and estimates
  • Assist in preparing, handing over, and monitoring job packages
  • Review project timelines and completion schedules, and delegate tasks accordingly
  • Work with management and project execution teams to create optimized solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers
  • Provide technical support to teams as needed
  • Contribute to company growth and development to achieve core company goals
Requirements
  • Estimator experience in the heavy manufacturing, fabrication industry
  • Be living locally in the Mackay Region
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient use of MS Office Suite, including Share Point, Excel & Word
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a fast-paced environment
