We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Workshop Estimator to join our team at Field Mining Services Group. As a leading provider of qualified trade labour and specialist maintenance solutions to mine sites throughout Australasia, we are looking for a skilled professional to take on a new challenge and contribute to our success.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing fabrication quotations by analyzing 'requests for quote requirements', technical drawings, and associated specifications. Ensuring supplier bids & proposals meet project specifications, budget requirements, and timeframes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the scope of work to bid,
- Managing the bid pricing from all vendors, and
- Assisting management with the overall scheduling of the workshop projects and pipeline.
This position will be proactive and coordinate site visits for the ability to measure up and scope jobs. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical skill set, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will have:- Previous experience in a similar role
- Relevant trade qualification – Fabrication
- Current drivers licence
- CAMP or PMP qualifications (desirable)
